　　The telephone exchange capacity of the

whole city is 800,000 lines. There are 770,000 households using telephones in the urban area, which reaches a density of 31 phones per 100 persons. Some telecom value-added business such as IP telephone and ADSL have been in service. The seamless mobile network has been built, and there are 488,000 mobile users.

Electricity Supply

ntrolled by program and installed with the automatic chlorine and medicine adding facilities .The urban area of Weihai can be supplied with 100,000 cubic meters of water every day . The quality of water has reached the national standard. All the urban area can use the tap water. With the completion of the water transferring project ,the daily supply capacity will reach 210,000 square meters.

Gas Supply

residents of Weihai enjoy three ways of gas supply including piped gas, piped LPG and canned LPG. All the fuel used is in gas form

Heat Supply

re are 4 heat and power plants in Weihai, which can meet the requirements of the industrial use and the residential use.
